I enjoy the liberal writings at Slate, but when I'm in a more centrist mood, I check out the Volokh conspiracy, whose main contributor is wunderkind Eugene Volokh (who received a CS degree when he was 15 and a law degree by the time he was 20).

Tuesday Morning Quarterback has returned!  Look for it at ESPN.COM.  TMQ is written by Gregg Easterbrook (who is probably the only Brookings scholar with a pro football column).
