It's tough to find a tenor in the North Bay
Santa Rosa Players is on the verge of ceasing its search for a lyric tenor for G&S THE MIKADO. The upper management has preliminarily cast the director's husband in the romantic tenor lead role. He's a very fine tenor and performer...but...the soprano lead is in college, while the tenor is post-retirement. We are hoping a May-December (or perhaps March-November) pairing for these roles won't be too far of a stretch for the audience.
